Stacey Ruta
Children's Ministry Director
My
name is Stacey Ruta and I am married to my
amazing husband of
16 years, Scott Ruta. I have 3 outstanding,
athletic and energetic
boys, Russell, Mitchell, and Kendell. I have lived in Alaska
for 7
years and love it. I have attended Church on the Rock for 6
years. I
am the Children's Ministries Director and love every minute of
it. I
enjoy volunteering in my kid's school and sports programs. My
hobby is
planning events. I direct the Children's Christmas Musical
each year
and this year will be number 6 at CotR. I love kids and am
blessed to
work with an awesome team of people that enjoy serving the Lord and
giving of their time, talents, and energy to kids. I also
enjoy
traveling and all the recreational activities that Alaska has to offer
like hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, and sledding, actually I don't like
sledding but I love taking my kids and watching them enjoy it.
I
have served in Children's Ministry since I was 14 years old.
I was
directing musicals, leading children's church, directing VBS, fall
carnivals and children's activities and church at family camp
when I
was 16 years old. God called me to children's ministry on a
missions
trip to Mexico when I was16. It is my life's calling and my
passion to
work in Children's Ministry. It is my soul desire
to be a vessel that
God can fill and use for His Glory as I share the love of Jesus with
each child that I am blessed to be a part of their life. I
pray
that for the Holy Spirit to give me the
words, wisdom, and energy to
teach the kids in a fun and creative way that will help them
learn about Jesus. It is an honor to plan and
provide opportunities
for kids to make fun and fond memories of their childhood experience in
church.
