Senior Pastor
Living in Alaska and being able to share Jesus and
demonstrate his love is my passion. The Lord has blessed me with a
beautiful wife LaRae, I am totally in love with her and have been
for 20 years. We have four awesome children (LaRiesa, Jessica,
Colton and Emily). I have spent 17 years commercial fishing the
Alaskan waters of Prince William Sound, Kodiak, Cook Inlet and
Bristol Bay. In February of 2000 the Lord led us to plant Church on
the Rock here in Wasilla and it has been even more exciting to be
fishers of men. I love all the outdoor activities of fishing,
hunting, hiking, running, white water rafting, skiing, snowmobiles,
4-wheelers, camping and spotting animals in the mountains with my
Zeiss Spotting Scope
. This summer includes running my first
marathon and making an ascent of Mt. Ranier. I believe that God has
designed us for adventure and with a purpose to live in the freedom
of His Spirit. My heart is to cascade the Joy of Salvation and to
be a voice of my savior and friend Jesus.
