Are you looking for a "fresh start" that leads to forgiveness and freedom in Christ? Jesus is the Good News who came to heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free! (Isaiah 61). It is our prayer that as you "process the issues of your heart" by literally writing out your responses to the Lord that you will be able to resolve your past, come to thrive and not just survive in the present, and look forward to a hope-filled future.
It's never too late for a Fresh Start!
A progressive series developed to take you from basic membership to working in ministry. The ASCENT takes you through a 4 series training course; 101-License to Climb, 102-Gearing Up, 103-The Freedom & Power to Climb, and 104-Extreme Training. When you have completed the Ascent you will have an excellent foundation for the journey that lies ahead. Contact the church office for dates and times.

Base Camp 101 - "License to Climb"

Ascend with us! Your first step after repentance, faith in Christ and water baptism is to be committed to a local fellowship. While the importance of these topics will be traversed, we will also cover the doctrine, values and vision of Church on the Rock. This is your opportunity to discover the joy of membership and covenant to the people and purposes of this church. After you complete the requirements for membership, there are many first-serve opportunities awaiting you.
Base Camp 102 - "Gearing Up"
Lead Guides: Pastor David Pepper, Pastor Scott Frerking & Apostle William Pepper
Having the right gear and basic training is crucial for your development in ministry. In this Base Camp you will be outfitted with Vision, Servant Leadership, The Will of God, Discipleship, Understanding your Strengths, Motivational Gifts and Spiritual Gifts. When you complete this time of training and equipping, many trails of ministry and leadership open up for you to ascend.
Base Camp 103 - "The Freedom and Power to Climb" Encounter Weekend
Lead Guides: Pastor Kelly & Lenora Brake and Rick & Trudy Bonnette
In order to ascend higher into God's purposes you will need to be free from all past hurts, wounds, sin and shame. Learning to live a lifestyle of forgiveness where you will truly be able to give your life away to others is God's heartbeat for every Christian. God is also calling us to an audience with Himself, to know Him and to empower us with His Holy Spirit for effective ministry. Prerequisite: completion of Base Camp 101 and preferably Base Camp 102.
Base Camp 104 - "Extreme Training"
Lead Guides: Apostle William Pepper & Team
Even the most experienced climbers need continued training and equipping for the extreme trails that lie ahead. In this Base Camp you will go through 15 sessions to keep your focus, passion and purpose in Christ. The continued maturity and skill for every climber is of utmost importance. If you are looking to traverse the most difficult paths and slopes, then you need extreme training.

Church on the Rock youth group. Elevate exists for the purpose of seeing the Kingdom of God lived out in the lives of teenagers in Wasilla and around the world. It is our desire that you will find a community of Christ-followers who want to see their world changed for the better!
