PASTOR DAVID & LARAE PEPPER

Pastor David & LaRae Pepper is the Founding and lead Pastors of Church on the Rock.  David has attended Pinecrest Bible Training Center and has been a Youth Pastor at Living Word Fellowship in Wasilla, and an Associate Pastor at Maranatha Full Gospel Fellowship in Anchorage.  Growing up as a missionary kid in the jungles of Peru, he knew God was calling him into full-time ministry.  He has the classic disciple’s story of God taking him from being a commercial fisherman and making him into a fisher of men.  Some of his favorite pastimes are spending time with family, sports, rafting, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, reading, texting, and running.  LaRae is the Director of the Women’s Ministry.  When her husband, David, first spoke of sensing God’s calling to start a church in Wasilla, she thought he was crazy!  However, God spoke to her heart and showed her that all she needed to do was love people, which is what she can’t help but do each and every day.  David & LaRae love partnering with Jesus to see people everywhere experience salvation, freedom, and equipping for an exciting life in God.  They also loves leading a fantastic team of staff and leaders as they “do church as a team.”  God’s vision and game plan of redeeming people from every tribe and nation is what motivates and drives them each day.  They have four children, LaRiesa, Jessie, Emily, and Colton, who are all loving and serving Jesus.
